Prices
How much should you expect to pay for a fully fitted kitchen?
Unfortunately, certain large DIY sheds have been less than honest about the actual cost of kitchens. You will have seen the Ads: “All this can be yours for £3000” etc, carefully omitting to mention the very long list of things that price does not include, least of all fitting!
Realistically a quality kitchen, properly fitted by qualified trades people is going to start at around £6000 - £8000 for a small kitchen, £10000 - £15,000 for a medium size, and be prepared to pay up to £30,000+ for a large kitchen; more if you want tiling and flooring included, top-brand appliances such as Miele etc.
Chappelsons for Quality
Many home improvement surveys have noted that it can be a false economy to buy a low quality kitchen. You should look for solid carcasses, strong metal internal fittings, hard-wearing doors with metal handles, and expect to have soft-close doors and drawers as standard.
- Chappelsons have built a reputation for fitting the best value kitchens in the area, as testified by hundreds of satisfied clients.
- Many of these clients have noted that what seemed to be a "cheaper" kitchen was actually no such thing when the hidden extras were taken into account, not to mention the added stress of dealing with a number of different suppliers, sub-contractors etc. Chappelsons will manage the entire job from start to finish.
